"SOULS OF TANGO", is a journey through the different eras of tango, its roots, its characters, its passion, its evolution, and the hope towards the future of this dance in a perfect balance between the past, the present, and the future of Argentine Tango.
SOULS OF TANGO
It is an Argentine tango show that covers the history of tango in four acts:
ARRABAL
The play will take us to the suburbs of Buenos Aires where we will see the lives of men and women, the boys working in the factories, the occasional dances in the streets, and the different sensations that the different rhythms such as the milonga, the waltz, and the tango will leave us.with a singer who will guide the play and the stories that are happening on stage.
The BEGINNING
We will travel back in time to the beginning of Tango, where malevos were commonplace in the streets of Buenos Aires. there where the dance became master of the Buenos Aires streets, the orchestra will take its music reproducing the musical styles of the time.
The MILONGA
Advancing in the timeline we will enter the Milonga, the social dance par excellence of Buenos Aires, the night and its characters, the initiates, the malevos, the boys and girls of the night, dreams, illusions, love, and heartbreak.
The FUTURE
We will travel to an uncertain future where musical styles have varied, dance has been modernized and in that future tango is reborn, reinvented, and constantly renewed.
